My son has worn the boys briefs (and now boys boxers) in size 2T, 3T, 4, and 5. They are worth every penny. They are made with thick, soft fabric, that stays sturdy after many, many, many washes. The elastic at waist and legs is thick, and lays flat, not too stretchy or too tight. It doesn't begin to unravel with rubbery threads coming out like pretty much any other undies I've ever tried (adult or child). The thread is soft and the seams lay flat without rubbing. My son is not SPD but does have lots of skin sensitivities, and is very particular about what he wears. I have similar skin sensitivities as he does, and just love how these undies feel in my hands. They don't ride up on his bum, but stay down fully under his butt cheeks. After maybe 100 washes, there is some color fading and some very mild pilling of the fabric. All so mild that I'm sure they will last another 100 washes when my second son gets to use the ones his older brother outgrew. The fabric has as nice stretch to it, so that one size seems to fit for at least two years of growth. I have purchased them in each size, but could probably get away with purchasing them in every-other size instead. The fabric arch where it looks like a pee-hole would be, is fake. The undies are stitched closed on the inside, so that there is no real hole. I've purchased at least 12-15 undies in each size, and quality has been consistent among them. I finally had one issue where a pack of size 4T was the tiniest bit smaller than all of the size 3T my son had. I missed the Amazon return deadline, so I called the company, and was able to speak to the owner (how often does that happen anymore?!). He was very friendly, and offered to replace the undies with a better size. These are an extremely high-quality and durable item, which it seems hard to come by in this day and age. So much clothing seems to be made to be thrown out within a year or less. These are definitely the type of item that you know is made to last. I could only be happier with these if they made them for mommies heheheeh! My son is on the Autism spectrum and potty training has been difficult. Finding the right underwear has been a task. We spent a good amount of money buying underwear for him that he would just not wear. I saw the reviews for City Threads Briefs and a lot of moms said they were very soft and sensory-friendly, so I decided to buy ONE 3-pack to try out. Of COURSE my son absolutely loves them! They're super super super soft, and such great quality! Once we knew he would actually wear them, I purchased 3 more 3-packs. They are definitely a bit pricey, but they WILL hold up. I typically wash all of my clothes in tepid water and always dry on low heat as to avoid shrinking. They have held up to numerous washings so far! I definitely recommend these briefs for children with sensory issues. There are no tags, and nothing that will "dig in" to sensitive skin.My son is big for his age and is starting to outgrow his 3T/4T potty training underwear, but he really likes the fit. They are the kind with a little padding in the front. These City Thread ones are similar in cut/style (but without padding) so I bought them in a 6 due to the reviews that they run small. The size 6 in City Threads is most similar to the 3T Nickelodeon (Paw Patrol) underwear. My son says these are very comfortable and he likes them a lot, so we will keep them even though he'll outgrow them soon, and then buy the next size up. Hope this helps someone else when choosing size. For reference he is 45" tall and weight 42lbs.Great pants! My 3 year old is fairly short and thin. 3T clothes are often loose on him. I got 4T and they were snug but not tight. Could have gone one size bigger. For reference he wears 4T underwear in other brands. These are the only underwear my 12 year old son will wear. They're a little more expensive but very comfortable.Made in America and a quality that shows. My kindergartener loves these briefs so much, he's asked me to buy more. I purchased the blues and green 3 pack, and the colors have stayed bright. Easy to toss in the washer and dryer, and I did not see any color bleeding not did I see shrinkage or shape changing. The material is a nice thickness... Thicker than the run of the mill boys briefs, but not like the training undies, either. These undies do have a tag, but it is soft and flexible and my son has not complained. The tag doesn't wash away, either, so the size is identifiable for a reminder when it's time for the next size ;). Though it looks like there could be a "hole" in the front, there is not one (can't tell you the purpose of that "vent" for a young kid anyway.)Upon the polite insistence from my little guy, I will be purchasing another pack. The price is higher on these, but the quality, and the fact that it is made in my home country, I feel the purchase is well worth the price paid. I highly recommend these made in America underwear! These underwear are nice and soft. My grandson loves them!
